I’m thinking of getting a new mini-laptop for my lab that fits better in my lap instead of the bulky (but powerful) HP EliteBook 8440p. The HP Pavilion dm1-3110eo seems pretty nice… Comments?

The HP EliteBook 8440p is a beast with an i7 core! I personally prefer Toshiba to suite my needs for a mobile computer just because of my past experience with owned HP devices. A processor with a bridge processor would be amazing. Not sure if your picks has this line up for the processor.
Whatever may be the case for the hardware, a 64 bit operating system would be by far the smarter choice because the support memory can be more than 4 GIGs.
Have a happy purchase for whatever it’s worth!
