As I’ve mentioned before, I use MDT 2010 in my lab to deploy all my machines. I haven’t explained in detail (yet) how I have set it up, but I wanted to put a quick post on how easy it is to deploy Windows 2008 R2 Server Core using MDT.
Start the Deployment Workbench and right-click in Task Sequences where you want the task. Now, the steps are pretty self-explanatory.
Now PXE-boot your host and you’ll get the Server Core selection in the list! Easy huh?
