Sometimes, virtualization won’t do. You need physical computers to test out some new cool client thing. Having a bunch of fullsize desktops takes up too much space and it’s not often you have a bunch of unused laptops at your office.
Many of you have probably heard of the Intel Compute Stick which comes with an Intel Atom Processor Z3735F, 2 GB memory, 32 GB of on-board storage, Wifi and Bluetooth – all that for $149.
Now, an alternative, which I’ve done, is to order the cheaper Meegopad T02 with the same specification.
Expect to pay less and you don’t get a fan – which is a plus. Hopefully I’ll receive it in a few days so stay tuned for some tests.
Oh and by the way, both of them are shipped with a license of Windows 8.1 for Bing… but I’ll probably try to re-install them with Windows 10 🙂
